Overview
St. Luke's Health System in Twin Falls is seeking a Flex Chaplain to join our Magic Valley team.
This is for on-call hours 10pm-8am 2 nights a week (on-call pay at $4/hr. with call-back time and a half)
May include some PRN day shift overage
Responsibilities
- Assesses the spiritual needs of patients, families and staff.
- Provides spiritual counseling and supportive care and guidance.
- Makes routine rounds on assigned units.
- Acts as a liaison between staff, family, friends or community clergy of patients during periods of crisis.
- Document assessments and interventions on the patient record as appropriate.
- Completes decedent care protocols and assists family to use their faith system in coping with death.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications
- Education: Master's Degree or 6 years relevant experience in lieu of degree.
- Experience: None
- Licenses/Certifications: Documentation of endorsement by a recognized religious or spiritual organization to provide spiritual care in a clinical setting.
