As our most acute level of care, Kindredstransitional care hospitals offer the same critical care patientsreceive in a traditional hospital or intensive care unit, but foran extended recovery period. Our clinicians play a vital role in therecovery process for chronic, critically ill and medically complex patients.

• Be responsible for providing direct clinicalservices to child, adolescent, and adult patients utilizing art and otherexpressive therapies to address interpersonal issues that cause emotionaldistress.

• These include art therapy, music therapy anddance/movement therapy and certifications allowing for therapeuticinterventions of specific group types.

• Depending on certification other modalities suchas play therapy, EMDR and other trauma-informed interventions may be utilizedas clinical appropriate for the patient or population.

• Planning and implementation of group sessions foreach population.

• Planning and implementation of individualsessions.

• Documentation of group sessions and individualsessions.

• Completion of Activity Therapy assessments.

• Planning and assisting with programming outsideof normal group hours for special events.

• Maintaining and ordering appropriate materialsand supplies for interventions.

• Masters Degree in Art, Music, Dance/MovementTherapy from an accredited school.

• Certification or registry appropriate to thedisciple of study, such as the American Art Therapy Association (AATA).

• Independent practice scope licensure as an LPC,LMFT or LCSW is desired.

• CPR and CPI.
• Minimum 1 year of experience.
