SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Academic Practice Division of Penn State Health is seeking a full-time, clinically licensed behavioral health therapist to provide integrated care services at out Lancaster Pediatric site. Along with the understanding of the developmental milestones of children and youth, the candidate should have specialized therapeutic skills and experienced clinical judgement while providing psychotherapy to children, adolescents and their families. Conducting psychological assessments, utilizing evidence-based therapies, developing treatment and discharge plans as well as case management skills are also responsibilities of the role. The position will include conducting individual and group therapy. Some individual therapy focuses include ADHD, depression and anxiety disorders, parent/child conflicts and school-based concerns. The candidate should be a team player as they will be a part of an interdisciplinary team.
Responsible for providing psychotherapy to patients, screening admission referrals, and providing ongoing treatment planning
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field required
One (1) year of experience in the treatment of Psychiatric patients required
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) required
