Accountable for managing and directing the growth activities across the continuum of care, both new and organic, with specific responsibilities to include promoting business development, monitoring external and internal business lines for developing new and expanding current market segments, and working with other AdventHealth facilities to evaluate, establish, build, market, and implement strategic business development programs. Facilitate and lead multi-disciplinary teams to implement business solutions. In addition, a focus on the retention and growth of existing physician practice relationships and development of new physician relationships through cultivation of existing practices and recruitment of new relationships. Facilitate strategy development and decision-making through quantifying opportunity and risk; facilitate innovation through the investigation of leading-edge practices and technology applications in health care. Provides training, oversight, and direction to the provider relations team. Sets goals and monitors their success across all facilities.

Collaborates with executive team and leadership to analyze, define, and direct resources to promote growth, customer satisfaction and profitability consistent with strategic plan. Understands the vision and can create a strategic or business plan to implement the vision.
Uses an understanding of the market and industry to anticipate potential changes in a specific area and respond with new programs and/or revenue enhancing opportunities.
Understands offerings of other AdventHealth hospitals in the market and collaborates as relevant on service line promotion.
Assists with development of strategic plan and budget based on gathering of intelligence about referral volumes and sources and community needs.
Identifies market share goals and the tactical plans needed to achieve growth strategies. Continuously evaluates referral base to identify opportunities for outreach, growth, and service expansion.
Provides liaison function through physician visits, connecting primary care physicians to specialists for educational purposes, information sharing and relationship building.
Acknowledges physicians with increased referrals, notifying appropriate hospital leadership for recognition of referrals.
Identifies, develops, and implements strategies, programs and services for potential referring physicians.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Requirement qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in health administration, Business, Management or Finance required
At least ten years of experience in a medical group or related organization is required
Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree in health administration, Business Administration or Management or related area
