CAREER CENTER

Atlantic Health System is currently seeking a Full-time Residential Specialist in the Growth House Dept at Newton Medical Center. Hours would be 10a-6p Tues. - Sat.

Essential Job Functions:

• Provides skill teaching, supportive services and direct intervention of adult residents.

• Provides clinicians with reports as required on the residents movement towards or barrier to achieving treatment goals and objectives.

• Reports on other issues or problems as appropriate.

• Oversees residents self administration of medications.

• Maintains all necessary resident rehabilitation records according to regulatory guidelines and personal care records.

• Provides transportation for residents to medical appointments as necessary.

• Assists in household maintenance of the work environment.

• Maintains commitment as a team member to achieve program goals and objectives.

Education:

• Bachelors degree in psychology, social work or related field

Certifications:

• Maintains current CPR, AED and First Aide Certification as well as Nurse Safe Training and Fire Training; if do not have upon hire, must obtain all certifications within 90 days of employment

Minimum Experience Required:

• 2 years relevant experience Required
