The QHP Master Counselor is responsible for the coordination of treatment of all patients on assigned caseload. This position conducts psychosocial evaluations, psychoeducational groups, participates in formulating patient treatment plans in conjunction with other team members and maintains adequate patient records. In addition, the QHP Master Counselor performs screening interviews with prospective admissions when needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of three years working as a CASAC or QHP in a chemical dependency setting required with 30-Hour OASAS Clinical Supervision Foundations I & II.
Qualified Health Professional license/certification required - LMHC, LMSW, LCSW or CASAC.
EDUCATION
Master's degree in human services field required.

If applicable, the individual performing this job may reasonably anticipate coming into contact with human blood and other potentially infectious materials. Individuals in this position are required to exercise universal precautions, use personal protective equipment and devices, and learn the policies concerning infection control.
