POSITION SUMMARY: The speech language pathologist provides quality care according to the principle of speech language pathology practice. The speech language pathologist develops an individualized plan of care that defines: the treatment to be rendered, frequency and duration of treatment, measurable goals including both long term and short term goals. The speech language pathologist implements the course of treatment to correct disorders of speech, language, voice, oral-pharyngeal function and cognitive/ communication skills.
