As a virtual Staff Psychologist (BHIP Therapist) for the Yuma CBOC you will diagnose mental disorders, conduct psychological and/or neuropsychological assessments/testing, treat mental disorders through a variety of modalities and provide adjunctive interventions for treatment of medical disorders. Among the modalities provided are individual, family, and group psychotherapies, and other interventions such as biofeedback, psychological hypnosis, and environmental interventions. This is a 100% virtual position as a Staff Psychologist (BHIP Therapist) for the Yuma CBOC. Major duties include, but are not limited to the following: Providing Virtual Video Connect (VVC) mental health therapy-related services for SAVAHCS Yuma CBOC Providing a full range of psychological assessment services for diagnosis and treatment of mental health disorders Administering, scoring, interpreting, and writing reports for psychological tests and neuropsychological screenings Providing comprehensive, evidence-based psychotherapeutic interventions, including individual, family, and group psychotherapy a minimum of 30 hours per week Developing, implementing, and documenting the psychotherapeutic treatment plan for an assigned caseload of patients, including prompt completion of clinical reminders and clinical encounters. Consulting and collaborating within the assigned BHIP Teams and with community providers, concerning clinical assessment findings and appropriate treatment plans for patients and families Managing BHP Therapy intakes and consults per policy Adhering to operational policies and procedures for the treatment team, established by the SAVAHCS or the Office of Mental Health Participating in on-going and advance required training to provide for clinical supervision of psychology and social work interns Functioning as a tele-health practitioner Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm. Tour of Duty may need to be modified to accommodate patient care needs on evenings and weekends. Compressed Schedule: May be available for highly qualified applicants.
