Evaluation and treatment of disabilities, injuries and diseases as related to functional impairments in an acute care setting. Uses a variety of therapeutic techniques to promote functional independence and improve quality of life. Delegates the plan of care to assistive personnel and monitors quality of care. Other duties may be assigned as needed by the supervisor.
Minimum of Bachleor's Degree, according to State mandates for Physical Therapist
Previous Physical Therapist experience in an acute care or inpatient setting required
Current FL Licensed Physical Therapist
Current American Heart Association BLS Certification
Minimum of 2 years P.hysical Therapist experience in an acute care setting
Rotating weekends included in schedule
