Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health Outpatient Center provides services to adults in the community seeking outpatient treatment for substance abuse and mental health issues. The primary focus of outpatient programming is to provide treatment for dual diagnosis patients in a group setting with a primary focus on recovery from substance use. The therapist serves as a key member of the treatment team providing direct clinical services in the form of group therapy. In addition, the therapist is responsible for completing psychosocial evaluations, developing and implementing master treatment plans, and working with the treatment team. The therapist also participates in patient care team meetings, working with the team to continuously develop improved programing for our patients. Strengths and qualities needed to successfully complete the job include: excellent communication, time management, organization, ability to multitask, and flexibility.
