Garland Behavioral Hospital is seeking a dynamic and talented Clinical Therapist/ Licensed Social Worker (LMSW) or LPC with a strong area of expertise with Adult patients/ populations to join our team in developing quality services consistent with our philosophy to serve Garland and the surrounding communities. Our Social Workers also assist patients by using therapeutic treatment skills to help them achieve their optimal level of emotional health. Key duties performed include group therapy sessions, basic consultation, teaching, crisis intervention, discharge planning, short-term and long-term family therapy, and providing information and referrals as needed. Under the direction of the Clinical Services Director, the Social Worker will provide exceptional care by assisting adult and geriatric patients in meeting their bio-psychosocial needs.
