RESPONSIBILITIES:Â Under the administrative supervision of the program Coordinator the Crisis Counselor; triage and follow up of telephone/mobile mental health crisis intervention, emergency services and walk in assessments. Crisis Counselors engage individuals in verbal de-escalation, crisis resolution, suicide risk assessment and prevention, referral collaboration and supportive counseling. Counselors are expected to be professional, empathetic, assertive and detail-oriented.
