The Meadows is seeking Part-time, Benefits eligible Phlebotomist to join our patient care team. The hours of work are primarily early morning hours and weekends. You can learn more by contacting Human Resources at 814-364-2161.
Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, the Phlebotomist has responsibility for collecting blood specimens, logging, processing, and reporting on specimens, to supervise and ensure the provision of nursing care in a manner consistent with the philosophy, objectives, and policies and procedures of the Meadows Psychiatric Center and the ANA Standards of Practice for Psychiatric mental Health Care. This includes ensuring accuracy and promptness in reporting test results, reporting to nursing staff, and the maintenance of current lab documentation. Phlebotomist will work on the inpatient units at the Meadows.
