Rogers Memorial Hospital, the area's leader in behavioral health services, is looking for a 1.0 Attending Child and Adolescent Psychologist to join our Brown Deer location on Day shifts.
The primary function of the Child & Adolescent Psychologist is to serve as an attending psychologist for the child and adolescent partial hospitalization program. Duties related to the attending psychologist role include: evaluation of patients for admission to the partial hospitalization program, admitting and coordinating the care of patients, staff clinical supervision and collaboration with physicians and other professionals in the coordination of care. The Child & Adolescent Psychologist actively participates in quality improvement initiatives, staff training and business development presentations.
1. PhD or PsyD required with specialization in child and adolescent services. 2. Minimum of two (2) years' experience, licensed in the State of Wisconsin within 60 days of hire date, and in good standing with respective licensing board. 3. Medicare and medical provider status. 4. American Heart Association Health Care Provider CPR certification or American Red Cross Professional Rescue is required within thirty (30) days of date of hire. Annual re-certification is required. 5. Formal training in the management of aggressive patients is required within sixty (60) days of date of hire. Annual re-certification is required.
