Dell Medical School (DMS) and Integral Care have committed to utilizing an evidence-based model of fully-integrated mental health care delivery systems called Collaborative Care. Collaborative Care will be implemented in DMS's new Integrated Practice Units (IPU) to strategically address the mental health needs of chronically ill patients such as Women's Health IPU for complex gynecological issues, the Musculoskeletal IPU for complex orthopedic issues, Cognitive Impairment IPU and the Multiple Sclerosis and Neuroimmunology Center.
Assesses, triages and provides treatment for patients with behavioral health and co-occurring medical conditions served within an integrated specialty care clinic
Provides patients with an array of appropriate, person-centered, evidence-based therapeutic interventions in individual or group settings, in the specialty care clinic
Utilizes psychiatric consultation to effectively meet patient needs
Consults and collaborates with other members of the clinic care team
Maintains accurate and timely documentation of all clinical services provided and completes miscellaneous paperwork as needed
Attends and participates in meetings as appropriate
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
At least 2 years post-grad of professional experience in health care
Knowledge of principles, methods, techniques and evidence-based practices in counseling
Skills in mental health assessment, formal diagnosis, and treatment planning
Skills in the provision of individual and group therapy services
Knowledge of psychotropic medications
Knowledge of available community resources
Skills in using computerized medical records system to document services
Ability to organize and prioritize work assignments
Bilingual fluency (English/Spanish)
License: Current and valid Texas driver's license and a clean driving record required. Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA), LCSW required.

Additional Salary Information: $4,422/month for LPHA I (0-2 years licensed experience)
$4,762/month for LPHA II (2-4 years licensed experience)
$5,063/month for LPHA III (4+ years licensed experience)
Shift differential pay if applicable. Upon successfully passing our agency bilingual exam, an added annual bilingual pay up to $3,730 would apply.
